Research Description:

Human stress reactions enable immediate survival yet entail long-term damage spanning neuromuscular, neurodegenerative, and inflammatory diseases. We use diverse molecular biomedicine approaches using mouse and Xenopus models, to explore the mechanisms underlying stress-associated diseases, to develop innovative strategies for alleviating the consequences of traumatic experiences or chemical and inflammatory stresses.
