Name: Dr. Matthieu Paiola
Position: Postdoc
Research Description:
I study the role of T cells and innate-like T cells in the Xenopus' resistance against Mycobacteria marinum (Mm) infection. Using reverse genetic approaches (siRNA and CRISPR/CAS9), newly generated tools including nanobodies and recombinant proteins (e.g., MHC-like tetramer) in combination with flow cytometry, RT-qPCR and TCR repertoire analysis, I aim to define the innate-T cell populations and their interacting antigen-presenting cells during immune reaction against Mm.
