UK Xenopus Meeting

Location: Henriette Raphael Function Room

When: February 28th, 2013 (09:00-17:00)

Contact: Registration is FREE. If you would like to attend please contact Angela Gates (angela.gates@kcl.ac.uk).  Deadline for registration is 15 January 2014.

The UK Xenopus meeting is the annual one-day meeting for the Xenopus community in the UK and for visitors from outside the UK who wish to attend. All researchers working with or with a potential interest in this model system are welcome. This includes those with interest in development, cell biology, cell cycle, genetics/genomics and other topics in Xenopus laevis or Xenopus tropicalis and experimentally similar systems such as axolotl or zebrafish.

Call for speakers: This meeting is an excellent forum in which to share your science with the Xenopus community. We particularly encourage PhD students and postdocs to contribute a talk and ask lab heads to suggest one or more members of their group to give a talk at this meeting.

Talks will be 15-20 minutes.

If you would like to give a talk, please email Angela Gates with your name, affiliation and talk title.

Venue information: The meeting will be held in the Henriette Raphael Function Room within the Henriette Raphael Building on Guy's Campus at King's College London, London SE1 1UL.

More information on transport to the venue and a Guy's Campus map can be found here. (http://www.kcl.ac.uk/campuslife/campuses/guys/Guys.aspx)

Sponsors: Tecniplast UK, Genetools Inc., and Leica UK.

Organisers: Jeremy Green, Karen Liu and Esther Bell (King’s College London).
