15th International Xenopus Conference

This meeting is of central importance to the Xenopus community and provides outstanding opportunities for interaction, with platform talks and posters presented by students, postdocs, and faculty, plus roundtable career development forums.  This meeting also provides an ideal opportunity to learn about the latest advances in genomics and proteomics, as well as new methodologies that are accelerating research within the Xenopus system. The meeting format has evolved somewhat to better promote the future of the field, including an emphasis on new faces, broader topics and roundtables to promote discussion and career development; we hope that you will make every effort to attend and participate.  A number of travel grants will be awarded to trainees to help make the meeting more affordable.

Submit your abstract between April 9 and June 10.

Conference registration is now open until July 24.

2014 Important Dates

Save the dates of August 24-28, 2014 for the 15th International Xenopus Conference to be held in Pacific Grove, California. Asilomar Conference Grounds will be the site for this scientific conference and you’ll want to make sure that your important research is featured.

The meeting provides outstanding opportunities for interaction, with nearly 300 platform and poster talks by students, postdocs, and faculty, plus roundtable career development forums. This meeting also provides an ideal opportunity to learn about the latest advances in genomics and new methodologies that are accelerating research with the Xenopus system.

Make sure that your research is included by submitting an abstract between April 9 and June 10. Conference registration opens April 9.

The largest gathering of its kind, this important conference will feature Keynote Lectures from:

There will also be Special Lectures from:

 Over 90 talks and 200 poster presentations will be selected from YOUR submitted abstracts.  There will be numerous opportunities for lectures from postdocs and students.

• Neurobiology
• Behavior

In addition to the scientific sessions, there will also be roundtable discussions focused on:
