Zoom through the time of COVID with Xenbase
Dear Xenopus Research Community,
We at Xenbase are continuing to provide service to you during the coronavirus pandemic.
Our team of curators, software developers, database administrators, and bioinformaticians have been able to continue our work of making available the compilation of Xenopus research to you and the wider biomedical research community.
Xenbase is a dual site effort with the curation and bioinformatics team located at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio USA along with our computer software and hardware site at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada.
As many are experiencing, working remotely may have become the norm. The Xenbase staff were able to quickly switch from collectively working in office to working together remotely through online teleconferencing. Our practices of using online communication, project development and documentation, and dual site coordination allowed us to smoothly make this transition.
We hope you and your research team members are well and given these difficult times, that your research projects are continuing as best as can be managed.
Our expectation is to see you all soon and safely gather in person.
Sincerely,
The Xenbase Team
