SDB 80th Annual Meeting
After much consideration and concern regarding the ongoing pandemic, the Society for Developmental Biology 80th Annual Meeting will be held Virtually July 12-16, 2021. SDB President, Mary Dickinson, and the Program Committee are putting together an excellent program! Check out the list of invited speakers.
Registration
Registration is now open. If you have not already done so, please renew your membership to take advantage of reduced registration rates and to be eligible for short talk consideration, student presentation awards and meeting assistance grants.
Registration Deadline: June 14, 2021, 11:59 PM ET.
Abstract Submission
Abstract submission is now open. About 36 abstracts will be selected for short talks in concurrent sessions. Eight postdoc abstracts will also be selected for the Hilde Mangold Symposium. Abstracts not selected for short talks will be scheduled for poster presentation.

New This Year! - Virtual Poster Hall
Poster Sessions will take place using the Remo virtual platform, which provides a video discussion forum that mimics an in-person networking event. Presenters will discuss their work with groups of attendees coming and going throughout the session, much like an in-person poster session. You can watch a 3-minute video introduction to Remo.
SDB Meeting Assistance Grants - Coming Soon!
SDB will be offering grants for trainees and teaching/junior faculty to help offset the cost of presenting at our virtual SDB annual meeting. In addition, for the first time, SDB will be offering dependent care grants to offset the cost of child or dependent care for members to attend the SDB annual meeting. This grant program will continue when we resume in-person meetings. Current SDB membership is required.
