Description	Antisera. CERN-JS858 and CERN-886 were elicited in rabbits against purified lipid-free bovine rhodopsin (for details Margry et al. 1983; Schalken and DeGrip 1986). These antisera are monospecific for rod opsin (Schalken 1987; Janssen 1991) and were used at a dilution of 1 : 1000-1 : 1600 Original description in "Opsin localization and chromophore retinoids identified within the basal brain of the lizard Anolis carolinensis" has no PMID and thus cannot be linked within Xenbase
