Description: | TYRP1 antibodies were produced in the Rodionov Lab (Univ. Connecticut) by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide that corresponded to the C-terminal amino acid sequence of the Xenopus laevis TYRP1 (see Rezaul et al., 2016). Antibodies against TYRP1 link neighboring pigment granules to each other, inducing formation of pigment granule clusters unable to efficiently move along MTs because of their large size. |
